Ulster Gaa President S Awards

Ulster Gaa President S Awards

Coaching awards

ULSTER GAA PRESIDENT’S AWARDS

  • Within the Performance Focus Review in April carried out with Sport NI, one key criteria was Reward and Recognition of Coaches. Currently Ulster GAA Reward and Recognise Coaches every three years under the President’s Awards
  • In addition Ulster GAA has made recommendations to Sport NI for their Coach Awards. As part of this process Ulster GAA’s Curriculum Sports Programme achieved Regional success and success at the Sports Coach UK Award in Glasgow.
  • This Awards Programme is not a black tie affair. The coaches are nominated and if successful they receive a certificate that is presented in their club at a training session with parents and club mentors present.
  • This provides an excellent opportunity to reward and recognise coaches on an annual basis with little expense and provides a flow of coaching talent that can then go forward to Provincial Awards and Sport NI Awards.
