GENERAL INFORMATION

See below for start times for the ring, running order and class counts. Class counts are subject to change due to move-ups not yet received. Please note that judging will begin at 8amall three days.

Height divisions will run TALL to SMALL all three days. A and B or Master/Excellent, Regular entries and Preferred entries will run concurrently in all height divisions.

There is still a waiting list for Saturday and Sunday. If you pull from any runs before 6pm June 5th (Monday) you will be refunded 100% of your entry fee as long as we have runs on the waiting list to replace them. If the wait list has cleared, then refunds will only be issued for the situations outlined in the premium.

MEASURING:

There will be no Volunteer Measuring Officials (VMOs) at our trials. If a dog has never had an official measurement, it must be measured prior to running your first run of the weekend. The measurement will only be good for that weekend. Come to the score table and we will assist you with getting your dog measured. It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to assure that necessary measurements are obtained.

CHECK-IN:

Self check-in will start at 7:15 a.m. each day. REMINDER: Armband stickers are no longer required. At check in you can pick up course maps. At the ring gate before your class, you will check your dog in to let the gate person know you are present.

NEED HELP (especially Novice A Exhibitors)

Do you have questions about showing or the facility? If so, we have "seasoned" agility exhibitors who are willing to help you. Contact the trial secretary or stop by the score table if you have questions.

MOVE-UPS:

The deadline for move-ups in advance of the trial is 6 p.m., Monday, June 5th, 2017.. No move ups for Friday's event will be accepted after Monday at 6pm. After Monday's deadline, move ups for Saturday and Sunday may requested day-to-day (see instructions below).

All move-up requests must be in writing. E-mail is acceptable for advance move-ups only; pleaseinclude the dog’s call name, your first and last name, days and the class to which you are moving up. If I don’t send you an email back within 24 hours, send your move up again.

Day-to-day move-up forms will be available at the secretary’s table up to the completion of judging and results posting on Friday/Saturday for the next day’s trial. Overnight move-ups will notbe accepted via e-mail.

EXHIBITOR SET-UPS:

Exhibitor setups will be allowed on Thursday from5:00 to 6:30 pm. The Sportsplex will close at 6:30 pm on Thursday. Please plan to arrive during this time as the building will be locked at all other times. No early birds! The building will open at 7:00 AM Friday, Saturday & Sunday. It will close Friday/Saturday night as soon as everything is set up for the next day's trial.

Crating areas will be marked off; please respect any off-limits areas. All crates and ex-pens MUST be on solid, waterproof protective material. If a sign says “NO CRATING” then it means find another spot. If you can’t find a place to crate, then come to the score table. We will find a committee member to assist you.

CONCESSION

Under our contract with the facility, NO OUTSIDE FOOD IS PERMITTED in the building. The concession stand at the SportsPlex will be offering their normal menu. Numerous fast food and informal sit-down restaurants are located nearby. Please do not bring outside food into the building.

If you would like to bring a cake for your dog who has MACH’d at our trials, then please contact the Trial Coordinator – Helen Kurzat . There is a limit of one cake allowed per day, and the cake can only be for a MACH. Please, no birthday cakes etc. Those bringing cakes must provideall plates and utensils needed, and it must be cleaned up promptly.

VOLUNTEER WORKERS

The worker schedule for the trial is being emailed separately. Helen Kurz (volunteer coordinator)

still has plenty of worker spots available. Worker tickets will be given to those who volunteer. Please review the schedule carefully and Helen at if you have concerns. Check in at the worker board near the score table for your assignment OR to volunteer.

CRATING

Be respectful of others and limit how much you spread out. If you cannot find crating space please come to the score table and we will find a committee member to help you find crating space. Excessive “living rooms” will be condensed if requested by a committee member. If a sign says “NO CRATING” then it means find another spot.

Other trials at this facility have heard complaints about reactive dogs. The aisles are only 4 feet wide in some places so please plan when deciding where to crate. Dogs that lunge, excessively bark, or threaten people/dogs walking by should be crated around the outside of the wall surrounding the rings, beyond the doors that go outside, to reduce traffic near their crates. If your dogs guard your car then park in a remote corner of the parking lot. We may ask people to move their set up or their car if their dogs are being a nuisance to others.

CONFLICTS

Please inform the gate steward during your walk thru (before your class starts) if you may have a potential conflict. We cannot be responsible for a missed run if the gate steward has not been informed. Be creative. You can move up or down within your jump height or to a jump height before yours but not to a jump height after your class walks and runs. Do not ask the judges to run at the top of the jump height after yours. (Note: if multiple jump heights walk at the same time (i.e. all of Novice Standard) then moving between jump heights is fine with the judge's permission. Not moving to a jump height after yours is referring to classes with multiple walk thrus (Excellent/Master standard and Jumpers with weaves.)
