Captain Cook Cruises is operating a range of cruises this Australia Day, Sunday 26 January, 2014. From Ferrython, Tug and Tall Ships to Shark Island Picnics, Fort Denison ‘Aus’ tours and lunch cruises, everyone can enjoy front row seats to all the entertaining action.

Cheer on the yellow and green catamarans as they battle it out for line honours from Fort Denison to Shark Island and finishing under the Harbour Bridge on Captain Cook Cruises Ferrython Cruise.

The Tugs and Tall Ships cruise allows passengers to experience the afternoon highlights including the Tug & Yacht Ballet, Tall Ships Parade, Australia Day Regatta and RAAF FA18 Hornets.

The Ferrython and Tugs and Tall Ships cruisesarepriced at $49 for adults and $25 for children 5-14 years, both depart from Circular Quay with the Ferrython cruise departing at 11am, returning at 12 noon and the Tugs and Tall Ships cruise departing at 12.30pm, returning at 2.15pm.

Pack a picnic lunch and spend Australia Day on Shark Island, one of the best vantage points to see all the day’s activities. Captain Cook Cruises is operating a special service departing Circular Quay at 9.00am andreturningat 3.45pm. Adults are priced at $49 and 25 for children 5-14 years.

For Australia Day only Captain Cook Cruises is operating a special Fort Denison ‘Aus’ Tour that includes a return ferry to Fort Denison from Circular Quay or Darling Harbour, National Park entry fee to Fort Denison, a mini 10 minute tour of the Martello Tower's winding staircase, canons, gun powder store and 360 degree views of Sydney Harbour, access to the fully operational tide gauge room where Sydney's tidal benchmark is recorded and access to the Fort Denison museum.

The Fort Denison ‘Aus’ Tour is priced at $29 for adults and $26 for children (5-14yrs).

For a more formal Australia Day Captain Cook Cruises is offering passengers a choice of three lunch cruises aboard MV Sydney 2000.

The Sky Deck lunch cruise is situated on the first class upper deck level of the Sydney 2000 and offers four mouth-watering courses and an open bar of premium wines, beers, spirits and soft drinks. The sky deck cruise is $169 per adult and $99 per child aged 5 -14 years.

The Club Deck and Show Deck Australia Day lunch cruises include a fabulous Aussie buffet featuring Sydney Rock Oysters, Prawns, smoked salmon and a selection of Aussie meats and salads.

The Club Deck buffet is situated on the spacious restaurant deck of the MV Sydney 2000 and includes the house selection of wines, beers and soft drinks and is priced at $149 per adult and $89 per child aged 5 -14 years.

The Show Deck buffet is on the main deck of the Sydney 2000 and guests can enjoy shared party tables of 12 and includes a welcome drink on arrival. A purchase bar selling spirits, premium wines, beers and soft drinks will also be open throughout lunch. The Show Deck buffet cruise is priced at $119 per adult and $59 per child aged 5 -14 years.

All Australia Day lunch cruises depart from No.1 King Street Wharf, Darling Harbour at 10.15am returning at 2.15pm. Guaranteed window seating is available for an additional $35 per person.
