Certificate in Dispute Resolution: Course Offerings

In order to achieve a certificate in dispute resolution, students must obtain fifteen (15) credits in courses that satisfy four of the five competency requirements listed below. Up to three (3) of the fifteen (15) credits may be obtained in Litigation courses.

5. Dispute Resolution Processes

Listed below are three course charts, (1) Dispute Resolution Courses; (2) Litigation Courses; and (3) Clinics Satisfying Interviewing and Counseling. All courses listed as “Dispute Resolution Courses” apply towards the Certificate. Up to three (3) credits of “Litigation Courses” may be counted towards the Certificate. For “Clinics Satisfying Interviewing and Counseling,” up to one (1) credit for each semester of the clinical program may be counted toward the certificate. Students must always check the registration materials for each semester to see particular course offerings.
