November 22 – Help the Homeless Walkathon. Our club has formed a team to benefit Healthy Families.

November 27 – Thanksgiving. No meeting.

December 11 – The annual Healthy Families Christmas Party. This is always a big event and we will need lots of volunteers. See Patty Browne to sign up!

DECEMBER 11 – CHRISTMAS LUNCHEON AT LA COTE D’OR. THE USUAL SPECTACULAR EVENT. FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE WELCOME. DRINKS AND HORS D’OEUVRES AT 11:30. SIGN UP SOON!

Steve Klemp was pleased that Veterans Day was not observed on a Monday. If you were there, you’ll know why. If not, see Steve.

Ken Small enjoyed a month at Jackson Hole, Wyoming and also noted the birthday of the US Marine Corps.

President Kim reported that visiting her nephews provides great bonding opportunities. But as well all good things, moderation is advised.

Visitors last week included Hugh Heishman’s friend, an officer of BB&T and member of the Alexandria Club, as well as Edward Bono, new to the area and grandson of a Rotarian, learning more about Rotary.

Bishop O’Connell High School is again selling Christmas tree ornaments to benefit the hockey team. They are $20 each-see Carl Nance.
