Our mission is to develop and nurture the love of soccer in the Sherwood community. We want to prepare our players for the future, both on and off the field. We strive to create a fun and positive environment for all soccer players to learn, participate, enjoy and achieve success. Recreational soccer is not just about winning and losing, but rather, in how each individual player performs and develops throughout each season.

Fees:

$75 per player

$11 OYSA fee for players who did not already pay with outdoor fall registration

$10 late fee for registrations received after February 20th.

Uniforms:

Kindergarten – High School: Receive a game t-shirt with their registration.

All players will need shin guards. Players may wear cleats, indoor soccer shoes or tennis shoes.

Registration:

Registration begins on January 10th and runs through February 20. After February 20th there is a $10 late fee for each player. Registration is completed online at www.sherwoodsoccer.org. If you need a paper registration form please contact the Registrar.

Availability:

Space is limited and filled on a first come, first served basis. Once a limit is reached for an age and gender, team admission will be closed and a wait list will be started.

Player Request:

6th Grade - High School: Coach, carpool and friend request available. Requests will be filled as best we can, but are not guaranteed.

Financial Aid:

A limited number of financial aid scholarships are available. To request financial aid, please mail or email the completed financial aid form (found at www.sherwoodsoccer.org) along with the $11 OYSA fee (if player did not participate in fall outdoor). If you have questions, or need a form mailed to you, please contact the Registrar at

Refunds:
Full refund, less a $15 administrative fee (and $11 OYSA fee if paid) will be allowed up to the first game day. After that date, no refunds will be allowed.

Team Formation:

Teams will be formed at the end of March. Registration numbers will be used to group ages together.

Generally K-1st / 2nd - 3rd / 4th - 5th / 6th, 7th and 8th / HS. If necessary some ages may be co-ed. All high school teams will be co-ed.

Practices and Games:

There are no practices. Games are played on Saturday’s with the exception of middle school who hold games on Friday evenings. The season generally runs from April thru early June. Games are played at the Sherwood Fieldhouse – 15532 SW Willamette Street. There will be no games for high school players during the weekend of Prom.

Coaching:

All of our coaches are volunteers. If you would like to volunteer to coach a team, please register online at www.sherwoodsoccer.org or contact if you have questions.
