My formal art training was in illustration, but was employed as an engineer until my early retirement. I now spend full time as an artist, painting, drawing and photography.
Recently I have been working in oils and silverpoint but have done work in pastel, inks, pencils, charcoal and acrylics. I generally prefer two subjects – animals and figurative work. Both reflect areas of interest in my life now and in the past.
I am currently the president of Artsbridge, a local non-profit organization promoting the arts in New Hope/Lambertville and surrounding areas. I also have been show chair or co-chair for both the Artsbridge Open Juried Show and Member's Show.
