ADVENT OPPORTUNITIES

Interested in deepening your relationship with God? Add some extra prayer time this Advent. EveryMondayduring Advent beginning thisMonday December 4th, there will be Eucharistic Adoration/Evening Prayer and time for personal prayer in the Chapel immediately following 8th period until3:30pm. Stop by for 5 minutes, 10 minutes or the whole time! The Lord awaits you.

Prayer Books--There are free copies of the Advent Magnificat, a monthly prayer book, in the Ministry Office. Please stop by if you would like a copy. Again, they're free.

Christmas Concert- Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary is holding its freeannual Christmas Concert onSunday, December 10th. For more information, please see Mr. Beaver.

AMBASSADORS

The December monthly meeting for Ambassadors will be held onMonday, December 11after 8th period in the Library.

BASEBALL

There will be a Baseball meeting today, December 7thimmediately in the library after school for all players interested in playing in the spring.

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST

Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls is proud to announce its 2017 Musical – Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Show performances are Friday, December 8 at 7:30 PM, Saturday, December 9 at 7:30 PM and Sunday, December 10 at 2:00 PM. Tickets are $11 for adults, $8 for students and senior citizens with ID, and $6 for children under 10.

CAHILLITES FOR KIDS

With the temperatures outside slowly dropping, Cahillites for Kids, a movement composed of S.A.D.D., Student Council, Roman Ambassadors, C.S.C, N.H.S, Big Brothers and the Roman Athletic Teams, are collecting gently used winter clothing such as jackets, scarves, hats and gloves. Last year, Cahillites for Kids collected 350 articles of winter clothing that all went to kids and adults in need.

There will be collection boxes scattered around the building to collect these items. Please think about contributing.You not only warm a body, you also warm a heart.

CSC

CSC will be collecting travel sized toiletries and socks to donate to the Veteran's Multi-Service Center. There will be boxes in the Student Affairs Office beginningMonday, November 20th through today, December 7th. We are asking freshmen and sophomores to donate the travel sized toiletries and juniors and seniors todonate socks.

The Knights of Columbus is looking for Assistance in Making Baskets on 12/10. Please see Ms. Kuvik if interested.

Wewill be making lunch bags for the homeless after school on 12/11.

FOOTBALL

Equipment returns will take place next week after school in the annex. Everything (shoulder pads, helmets, concussion things, chin straps, practice pants, knee pads, belts and game uniforms) other than your practice jerseys must be returned. Failure to come on assigned day will result in demerits and/or jug. Anybody that quit during the season and still has equipment must also come on the assigned day. Also Raffle Tickets and Money are due on the Day you return your equipment. Failure to do so will result in a $100 charge to your tuition. Below is the schedule for next week. Thank you.

Grants are available for students who have relatives who attended North Catholic. A FACTS form must be completed to eligible. The applications are available in Mr. Gault’s office and the due date to submit them is thisTOMORROW, December 8th.

RCHS WINTERFESTDATE DANCE

Attention All Students!! Our RCHS Winterfest Date Dance will be held onFriday, December 15th from 7-10PM.Information sheets and permission forms are presently available in the Student Affairs Office. Completed permission forms must be brought to be approved to the Student Affairs Office before you canpurchase your ticket.Tickets will only be sold in the Finance Office BEFORE school and AFTER your last class of the day.

SADD

Important information for SADD members who are hosting our Families in Need party on Sunday. Gift wrapping will take place on Saturday starting at 10AM. On Sunday, please report to school at 9AM. Don’t forget your raffle tickets. Be prepared to have fun!

SOCCER

From Coach Ray -For the 1st time in my 11 years, we have a High School All American Eastern Region Player. Congrats to our Junior Captain Jared Dillon on this amazing honor!

WRESTLING

The wrestling team fell short to Central in a scrimmage yesterday. Despite the loss... individual highlights included Jared Johnson winning by decision, Malcolm Hunt wrestling twice and pinning both his opponents in dominating fashion, and Nolan Kenny and Tyler McNabb both had pins in exhibitions.

The team officially starts their seasonthis Saturdaywhen they compete in the Viking Invitational at Upper Merion High School. Wrestling begins at9:30 AM, come out and support the team!

The team is STILL in need of a 113 lb. wrestler for the varsity line up. See Mr. Gault ASAP if you're interested in being a varsity athlete.
