TODAY’S PROGRAM

Gunilla (Gunni) Kramer, our exchange student, talked about her home country Germany and her year in the United States.

Gunni lives in Gleizendorf, a small town of 200, with her mom and dad

and she has 4 siblings, (one a twin sister). She attends school in nearby Ansbach, home of her sponsoring

Club and where most of her friends live.

Through a power point presentation, Gunni provided some tidbits about Germany and showed some of its famous sites and people.

At GP South, she participated in Diving and Track & Field and her favorite class was Ceramics. She enjoyed spending time with the other Rotary exchange students and was able to visit Florida with one of them.

Gunni believes she met the goals that she set for herself before coming to the U.S., which included meeting new people, learning her strengths, and becoming more independent.

A huge thank you to her two host families -- the Baetz Family and Don and Paula Smolinski.

FLOWER RAFFLE

Jon Gandelot’s limited edition tie is also lucky as he found the joker and won half of the $1,748 jackpot. Congratulations! Although the flowers were not the primary focus this week, thank you to Charvat The Florist for the beautiful arrangement.
