MobileSessions

Thesesessionsareopentoallexhibitors.

Mobile sessions are debuting at WaterJAM 2017, where three mobile sessions will be offered in the Exhibit Hall as part of this first year’s pilot program. For each complete mobile session attended, attendees will have the opportunity to earn continuing professional education credits (CPE) for waterworks and wastewater operators and continuing education credit hours (CECs).

These sessions, which are focused around specific topics, will allow VA AWWA and VWEA to bring attendees to selected booths to hear and see technical and educational presentations combined with equipment or hands-on visuals. These sessions are meant to be the anti-PowerPoint learning opportunity. The intent is to provide a hands-on experience focusing on face-to-face exchanges between vendors, operators, and engineers. Mobile sessions will meet at the Registration Desk, and will travel as a group to a series of exhibitor booths, led by the Mobile Session Moderator. Details of the sessions are described below.

  1. Sessions are open to any exhibitor, however space is limited for participation in this inaugural year’s pilot program. This first year, only three sessions will be offered, and attendees for each session will visit three booths.
