SUBJECT: Fall 2007 Camp-O-Rama
Gamehaven Council does not have a week long Boy Scout Summer Camp. So every year Blue Ox Lodge host a Camp-O-Rama. This is a time when we invite other Boy Scout Councils to market their Boy Scout Camps to the Scouts and Scouters of Gamehaven Council, SE Minnesota.
Last year (2006) Camp-O-Rama we had about 120 people attend and about ½ (60) were Boy Scouts or Venturing Youth. And we had 4 new councils/camps attended for a total of 15 camps.
Plans are being finalized for our Saturday, November 17, 2007 Camp-O-Rama in Rochester, and we are looking forward to your Council's participation. Please take a few moments to fax back your RSVP, including the number of representatives you will be sending and any special needs you may have. To assist with our planning, please respond by November 1, 2007.
We will meeting at Zumbro Luther Church, 624 3rd Ave. SW, in Rochester from 9:00-11:30am. Please use mapquest.com or a similar service to find your specific driving instructions to the event. The Church is just north of Soldier's Field and the south part of Downtown Rochester. Doors will be open at 8:00am to allow for booth setup. We will have OA members available to help carry material.
To help attract more participants, we have scheduled a drawing for door prizes at the Camp-O-Rama. Please bring along any camp promotion items you are able to donate for the drawing.
Also this years we are planing a game for youth called “Named That Camp”. We want digital pictures of various area of your camp. Some picture can be easy like your camp entrance. Others can be harder. The more pictures the better. The game goal is first to have some fun and the other to help promote your camp.

To help promote your camp, you may want also bring any Camp Leader Guides and next year reservation schedules as some units want to know the dates you have open.
