Rules and Regulations:

1. We are a non-traditional college prep that focuses on allowing the student to grow and become accountable for him/herself; therefore, we ask that the parents DO NOT help with the homework. We also ask that you hold YOUR CHILD accountable for their learning experience. We have a program that is proven, IT WORKS!

2. The school day officially begins at 9:00 and ends at 4:00 p.m. However, we require that students come in between 7:45 and 8:00 for additional tutoring (NO CHARGE). We also ask that they leave no earlier than 5pm. Summer Session starts on May 26th and are Monday to Thursday.

3. The uniform is as follows: Navy blue blazer (with logo on left pocket), grey pants or plaid skirt (girls), oxford shirt (short or long sleeves) with logo on pocket, black belt, red vest (optional), oxford shoes (red and white OR navy and white OR grey and white). Uniforms must be purchased from Young Fashions (address 2722 KalisteSaloom Rd, Lafayette, LA 70508, phone number 337-988-3600).

4. Tuition is due on the first day of each month. If tuition is received after the 5th day of the month there is a $25.00 late fee per student, and a $50.00 late fee per student if received after the 10th day of the month. Registration, the first month’s tuition and school supply gift card is due no later than the first day of the student’s start date.

5. Cell phones are picked up at the beginning of the school day and are given back upon completion of the school day. If you need to reach your child please contact the school’s main phone number (337) 442-6779. Please DO NOT text the student on the iPad!

6. Students are allowed to phone Mr. Mike (337-781-8001) and Mrs. Tracey (337-288-3499) up until 10:00 p.m. at night Sunday through Saturday for any questions regarding homework or school. Students in upper level classes are given more leeway on the time, and are encouraged to phone after hours.

7. Lunches: $5 per day/$25 per week/$100 per month.Send food or money for your child everyday, even if they say they do not need lunch. Students are allowed to bring snacks: NO sunflower seeds or chewing gum, PLEASE!

8. We encourage parents to phone or drop by if there are any questions or concerns you may have regarding homework assignments or issues regarding school.

9. School is year-round. Summer school is MANDATORY. We allow two days missed (excused or unexcused) during the school year.

10. ABSOLUTELY NO SOCIAL MEDIA ALLOWED ON CAMPUS, unless approved by Mike or Tracey. Student will have his/her phone taken away for one week on the first offense and dismissed from school on the second offense.

11. Male students: No piercings; No tattoos (if a student gets a tattoo while a student of TM Landry, this is grounds for permanent dismissal); no hair coloring. Female students: Only one piercing in the ear; no bright hair coloring or extravagant hair-dos; SAME POLICY AS THE MALE STUDENTS FOR TATOOS.
