Instruction Sheet for Bus Stop

1.  Try to collect at least 10 responses from each bus stop. The more the better.

2.  Try to get a heterogeneous mix of respondents (not only well-educated looking people!)

3.  Read the questionnaire to the respondent and enter their responses. If the respondent prefers to fill it himself/ herself , let them do it.

4.  You will be able to answer some of the questions yourself. Examples:

  1. Bus stop
  2. Date
  3. Time of survey
  4. Male/Female

Don’t ask these questions!

5.  There is a box in the top corner. Give a respondent ID there when you process the data. It can be group number- 0- observation number (e.g. 101= first observation of gr number 1, 510= 10th observation of group number 5).

6.  If you feel that the respondent is not understanding the questions (or giving false information!) make a note in the corner.

7.  Behave courteously and don’t make them miss their bus !
