Directions for completing the EMDA Year-End Award Rider Report Form

You must submit the rider report form no later than 48 hours after the last EMDA pointed show of the current season if you want to qualify for a year-end award. If this form is not received 48 hours after the last pointed show, you will not receive a year-end ribbon so please make sure you submit your rider report form on time! This year the Banquet will be held on December 4th at the residence of the EMDA officer, Katie Trickey.

Please note that, as in the past, attendance at the EMDA Members’ Year-end Banquet is necessary for you to receive your awards.

Eligibility:

-  Only scores received at EMDA-pointed shows count towards EMDA Year-End Awards.

-  EMDA pointed shows include those listed in the current TMDS Omnibus and designated as TMDS/EMDA. For 2016 awards, these include all schooling shows held at Puckerbrush and Infinity Farms, the 3 USDF/USEF shows at Puckerbrush Farm July 29-31, and the EMDA-sponsored schooling show at Peppergrass Farm August 7.

-  You must be an EMDA member by the date of the first EMDA-pointed show for which you are reporting scores in the current year.

-  Riders are only eligible for awards at 2 consecutive levels. If you qualify for 3, you will forfeit your eligibility at your lowest level.

Directions for reporting scores:

-  Only list one horse, one rider, and one level per form (make copies as needed).

-  Report all scores, not just the ones you like.

-  Scores must be obtained from at least two different judges.

-  You must have at least 3 scores if reporting for awards below second level, and at least 2 scores if at 2nd level or above.

If you have questions about reporting scores or submitting your report, please contact Kitty Mitchell, 75 Haley Road, Winterport, ME 04496; ; 207-525-4435.

Note: This form has nothing to do with TMDS! TMDS has its own form for submitting scores considered for TMDS year-end awards. To get the TMDS year-end award form, go to http://mainedressagesociety.org/forms.htm.
