The Brian Large Bursary Fund

Masters Bursary 2001/2002

Brian Large Masters Bursaries 2017/18

The Trustees of the Brian Large Bursary Fund are offering up to four Brian Large Masters Bursaries of £6,500 each for competitive application from British Universities running a full time Transport Masters course for the academic year 2017/18.

The Brian Large Bursary Fund is a Registered Charity, No 328747.

Selection Guidelines

Applicants must have been accepted for a full time Masters course in transport at a UK university for 2017/18

While no minimum level of first degree is required, the Trustees expect young graduates to have at least a 2.2, preferably a 2.1. However, they are willing to relax that requirement for outstanding mature students.

Applicants should have insufficient financial means, from all other sources, to enable them to commit to the course – the award of a Brian Large Bursary should be central to their decision to pursue a transport Masters. Students in receipt of other awards totalling more than £5,000 are not eligible for a Brian Large Masters Bursary.

Since it is the aim of the Brian Large Bursary Fund to enrich the supply of transport planning professionals within the United Kingdom, candidates are required to be British or to have long term UK residential rights and intentions.
