Corporate CSR initiative of Honda along with training excellence of LabourNet will impact the livelihood of youths in Karnal

LabourNet in association with Honda launched skill development centre in Karnal

Karnal, 16thFebruary, 2017:LabourNet Services India Pvt. Ltd, an NSDC partner, in association with Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Private Limited (HMSI), launched the Honda Technical Training centre in Karnal recently. The centre was inaugurated by Mr. Harbhajan Singh, SVP & Director, HMSI. The MLA of Gharaunda, Chairman Hafed , Mr. HarvinderKalyan was the special guest of honour. The Honda Technical training centre for excellence will train in courses such as two wheeler service technician training, two wheeler supervisor training and two wheeler advisor training, post which the candidates will get certified by National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).

Ms Gayathri Vasudevan, Co-founder and CEO of LabourNet Services said“The centre will help in boosting the employability and productivity of the youth of Karnal. Currently we have about 80+ students registered and about 300 people were present for the launch. The training will be done based on National Occupational Standards (NOS) and no fees are charged for the training.” She further adds “The tie-ups with the industry enables placements and at least 50% of the trained candidates will be provided with the job support. Also the trainers are either industry experienced or trained trainers.”

HMSI and LabourNet have partnered to provide vocational training youth, especially to SC/ST/Minorities and weaker sections of the society from Haryana andGujaratin five different trades as per local demand.
