East Central ICDA News – August 2016
On behalf of the Iowa Choral Directors Association, I’d like to wish you a wonderful 2016-17 year of music making with your choirs! Whether you are beginning your first year, have a new job or are making this the final year of your career - know that the excitement, knowledge and energy you share can ignite your students through music and truly make an impactful, positive life-long difference in their lives! We hope this year will include participating in ICDA events offered for you and your students!
The Iowa Choral Directors Association, Inc. is a professional organization for both school and church choral directors at all levels, elementary through adult. The $128 active membership fee is minimal for a professional group that has many outstanding offerings. Membership in the ICDA opens up opportunities for you and your students. All registration materials and updates for events will be posted on the ICDA website: www.iowachoral.org. There will also be an e-mail sent to members informing them of these updates and other timely information. Feel free to e-mail me through the website or at the above address with any questions. If you have an idea for an additional event that you would benefit from or wish to assist in our scheduled activities, please let me know.
I am grateful to our organization for the wonderful collegiality we share along with all the varied opportunities for each of us and for our students.
