Enhance the currency of the curriculum for the Computer Technology Program / 4 /
  • Revise course prerequisites for all courses
  • Create new courses

  • Intro to Programming, C++ I/II, Visual Basic I/II, Operating Systems (Windows, Unix)
  • Incorporate Oracle into Database Management Course
  • Make Intro to Computer Science the required course for CS majors and Computer Applications the required course for other majors
  • Add network administration as an area of specialization
  • Restructure the offering of courses so that student scan complete in 2 years with either a C++I/II, Visual Basic.NETI/II or Object Oriented Programming concentration
  • Identify courses that will better assist non majors in their education – VISIO or CASE
