Jan. 5-9

Attendance roster is on my desk 26 students—please check attendance and notify office of absences before breakfast.

Emergency cards (in orange folder), discipline referrals, nurse sheets, and bus loading and pickups are also on my desk.

Morning Skills---7:40-8:10, Breakfast and Bathroom 8:10-8:40, continue Morning Skills from 8:40-9:00

Monday Morning Skills---Blue Harcourt workbook pg. 45: Students will read a group of –sh words and use picture and context clues to place the words into given sentences correctly. Students will also complete a couple of cut and fold stories. After breakfast, students will discuss, check, and correct work on workbook pg. and also read and discuss the little cut and fold stories.

Tuesday Morning Skills---Blue Harcourt workbook pg. 46: Students will read a story about a bug and write 3 details about the bug. Students will also complete a couple of cut and fold stories. After breakfast, students will discuss, check, and correct work on workbook pg. and also read and discuss the little cut and fold stories.

Wednesday Morning Skills---Blue Harcourt workbook pg. 47: Students will read given sentences and use context clues to choose the correct r-blend or s-blend word to complete the given sentences. Students will also complete a couple of cut and fold stories. After breakfast, students will discuss, check, and correct work on workbook pg. and also read and discuss the little cut and fold stories.

Thursday Morning Skills---Little Harcourt books Trish Had a Wish and The Fish Market

Students will read little Harcourt books on their desks and also complete a couple of cut and fold stories. After breakfast, students will read and discuss all the above readings.

Friday Morning Skills---“Fun With Fish” formative assessment

Students will answer multiple choice and a short answer question pertaining to Harcourt story, “Fun With Fish.” After breakfast, students will reread questions and answer choices and after teacher takes up quizzes, discuss what answers that they should have marked on the quiz.
