STUDENT INSTRUCTIONS

OBJECTIVE: This Practical Exercise measures your ability to prepare the personnel readiness data of the Commander Unit Status Report (CUSR) in the role of a Battalion S-1. You will demonstrate your knowledge by answering questions about CUSR Reporting Levels, accurately calculating the personnel measurement areas of the CUSR, and utilizing eMILPO.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1.  Ensure that your name, rank, class number, and date are on your answer sheet.

2.  This practical exercise consists of three parts. Part 1 consists of 12 multiple choice questions. Part 2 consists of 6 questions that require you to perform basic CUSR computations. Part 3 consists of 4 scenarios that require use of the eMILPO training database.

3.  ALL WORK ON THIS PRACTICAL EXERCISE MUST BE ON YOUR OWN. You may NOT communicate with other students, give or receive assistance, make record of your answers anywhere but on your answer sheet, or pass on information about this practical exercise to other students.

4.  You will have 60 minutes in which to complete this practical exercise. Once you have completed the PE, bring your PE answer sheet and any scratch paper to the instructor and exit the classroom until the designated critique time.

NOTE: To view/print AA-162, you may have to ADD (50) to your STUDENT NUMBER. For example (WQ_ _ 22) will look like this (WQ_ _ 72).

Scenario 1: SPC Chappell has been identified in a photo line-up for drug possession by an anonymous witness and is currently under investigation pending military court action.
